A Tang dynasty hezi skirt set with embroidery. The hezi is the chest band worn with a high skirt in Tang fashion — the garment that produced the chest-high silhouette, and the closest historical reference for the “qixiong” hanfu shape popular today.
Design details
- Hezi chest-high construction tied under the bust.
- Embroidery across the skirt and bodice panels.
- Han-element styling — Tang reference with modern construction.
- Polyester fabric that holds pleats and colour.
How to wear it
For festivals, photographs and cultural events. A scarf draped over the shoulders completes the Tang line. Flat shoes and a soft hairstyle suit the period.
Fabric and care
Machine wash cold, inside out, in a laundry bag. Do not tumble dry. Press on low heat with a cloth over the embroidery.
Sizing
The chest-high cut is adjustable at the underbust tie. Check the skirt length against your height and the bodice width across the bust.

Sizing, shipping and returns
Sizing: Fit is governed by the waistband measurement, not the hip. Chinese sizing runs one to two sizes smaller than US/EU sizing, so measure your waist in centimetres before ordering — our hanfu size guide shows how.
Shipping: we ship worldwide with a flat rate of $19.99. Processing takes 1–4 business days; delivery is typically 7–17 days for standard international shipping, or 3–10 days from our US warehouse. Full details in our shipping information.
Returns: returns and replacements are accepted within 30 days for damaged, undelivered or significantly delayed orders. Return shipping is paid by the customer. See our returns and exchanges policy, or contact us if you are unsure.
