A hanfu photoshoot costume built for dance and photography rather than daily wear. The cut prioritises movement and silhouette: sleeves that catch the air, a skirt that opens as you turn, and colour that reads clearly on camera.
Design details
- Wide sleeves and a full skirt for movement.
- Cotton construction that holds shape and is comfortable under lights.
- Strong colour so the costume reads from a distance.
- Sizes covering a range of performers.
Where it works
Studio and outdoor photoshoots, dance performances, video shoots and cultural events. It is a costume rather than a reconstruction — designed to look striking in a still frame.
Fabric and care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle; air dry. Press before a shoot, and check hem and seams before a performance.
Sizing
Costumes are cut for movement. If you are between sizes, choose the larger one so you can lift your arms and turn freely.
